Marjan Ippel is Talkin’ Lingo
Writer by day, Dutch language teacher by night
For years, Marjan Ippel wrote about food and food trends in major Dutch magazines and newspapers such as ELLE and De Volkskrant.
Using the name Talkin’ Food, she authored several books and gave live presentations about emerging food trends to both large food companies and independent food startups.
She is also one of the early contributors to the international writers platform Substack.
With a background in linguistics, she currently dedicates her days to writing and her nights to teaching Dutch to newcomers (NT2) in her hometown Amsterdam.
About the beautiful encounters in her classroom, she wrote the bilingual book Dutch is sooo easy | Nederlands is zooo makkelijk.
